I negotiate the best possible agreements with publishers and manage them on behalf of our members. I also work with publishers of UKRI-funded research to create routes to publication and am involved in providing UKRI-compliant routes to publication of open access books.

I am a qualified and chartered librarian and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with an MBA focussed on leadership in UK HE (Distinction). I have extensive experience in public and higher education libraries most recently working as a head of content and discovery with responsibility for library research support having previously managed a team of subject librarians and worked in the engagement side of the service.
